Leagues

New England Paintball League (NEPL) - Hosts 7-Man, 5-Man, 3-Man, Open Pump and XBall events 5 times a year.  Run by Lori Miller and Anthony Vitale of Boston Paintball, the NEPL is easily the longest running and most successful league in New England.  Hosted at Maynard Paintball Club in Maynard, MA since the 2008 season.  Before that it was held at Birch Hill Paintball and Cape Cod Paintball.  Uses the APPA system for ID's and scoring, and introduced the NEXL this year which was one of New England's first XBall leagues since the collapse of the ABXL.  Became a two day event in 2010; 3-Man and XBall are held Saturdays while 7 and 5-Man are held Sundays.
2010 Event Dates: April 24-25, June 5-6, July 17-18, August 28-29, October 2-3

Northeast Paintball Series (NPS) - Hosted by Fox4 Paintball in Upton, MA.  Provides a Center Flag 5-Man and 3-Man format series to newer and experienced players alike.  Refereed by Fox4's competitive teams and started using the APPA system of ID's and scoring in 2010.  In 2010 the league will host 5 5-Man events and 3 3-Man events.  The 5-Man series will have a novice and rookie division while the 3-Man events are a single division.
2010 5-Man Event Dates: May 2, June 20, August 1, September 12, October 10
2010 3-Man Event Dates: June 13, July 11, August 22

ERFOA: The Eastern Regional Field Owners Association - Constructed in response to the collapse of the AXBL/MXL.  Four different fields, Camelot Paintball, Fox4 Paintball, JAW Paintball, and R&M Paintball combined to build a franchised based league played in the XBall format.  Provided a home for teams who lost their AXBL/MXL franchises.  Each venue holds 4 events during the season with a championship event at the end for the top teams.

foXball - This is Fox4 Paintball's ERFOA league and is home to many young up and coming XBall teams in the New England area.  It offers a XBall format similar to what people saw in the AXBL and old PSP's where there are limited time games with no score limit as apposed to a Race-To format.  foXball also uses a franchise system as apposed to event-to-event registration.  The league is broken down into a Saturday group and a Sunday group as the event lasts a whole weekend.
2010 Event Dates: May 15-16, June 12-13, July 10-11, August 21-22

Hurricane Tournament Series - A league built, run, and officiated by the professional team New England Hurricanes and owner Jeff Stein.  This Race-To XBall format league was started in 2010 and will be held at various venues in New England such as Camelot Paintball and Fox4 Paintball.  The league is scheduled to run three events this year with division 2 and 3.  The series also includes clinics for teams participating in the events.
2010 Event Dates: May 23, July 25, September 26




Hogan's Alley Empire Open - Held at Hogan's Alley Paintball in CT, this league will support Novice and Rookie divisions for 3-Man and 5-Man.  There will be 4 events for each format in 2010 and a special event on August 8th called "CT's Top Gun."
2010 5-Man Event Dates: April 25, June 27, September 19, November 14
2010 3-Man Event Dates: March 21, May 16, August 8, October 17
